Cross Gate Services, Inc. is a full service building services company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, providing service on a regional basis from Nashville to New Orleans. The company was founded by Art Barraclough in 1986, after he relocated to the Nashville area from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was President and CEO of one of the largest building services contracting companies in the Midwest.
Success has been built on a solid, financial foundation and the application of knowledge and experience gained from years of working with the top professionals in the building service industry. This combined with the introduction of new, aggressive, career-oriented managers has made Cross Gate Services a leading janitorial service in the southeast.
Cross Gate’s current President, Steve Southard, is an active member of the Building Services Contractors Association International and has been awarded the Certified Building Services Executive designation with that organization. He is actively involved with BOMA Nashville (supply director status) and the International Facility Managers Association – Tennessee Chapter (IFMA).
The Cross Gate management team takes great pride in actively pursuing and achieving the Registered Building Services Managers designation with the Building Services Contractors Association. This is a degree awarded those managers in the field who have taken and passed stringent, written and oral examinations, as well as qualifying to take the examination via background in industry criteria.
